Who are we?
Tender Mercies is a locally-owned and operated business that provides in-home care for Bell County residents. The company is
co-owned by Chris & Lauren Glenn and Larry Templin. Tender Mercies has been providing in-home care for the elderly and disabled since 2010 when it was founded by Tony and Shana Jeter. The Glenns, Templins, and Jeters have all experienced, first hand, the challenges associated with advocating for loved ones, and we strive to provide the very best care possible by treating your loved ones the same way we want our loved ones treated.

Our Caregivers
At Tender Mercies, we understand that it’s not easy to bring a new face into your home to provide care. We work to make this transition a positive experience by matching our highly qualified caregivers with your care needs. We believe that a good match between client and caregiver is essential for peace of mind. We establish caregiving teams that work together to provide support to your family and consistent care for your loved one. We take into consideration your specific needs, goals for maintaining health and independence, and what types of activities and assistance will be most beneficial to your unique situation.
Our Process
Tender Mercies will begin considering your loved one’s individualized needs from the moment we receive your call or inquiry. To begin the process, we will ask you some basic questions to help us form an initial needs assessment. Prior to beginning service for your family, Chris, Lauren, and Quality Care Manager Jo Ann Shine will visit with you in person to learn more about how we can best assist you and your loved one. We will establish both an individualized care plan and special care instructions, which allow all our caregivers to work together to provide consistency and the best quality of care.
